Strategic Supply Chain Group (SSCG)

The SSCG was set up in 2003 by Barbara Morton and the group continues to be developed by Sustainable Procurement Limited with recent support from CIPS.

Membership of the group includes organizations from the public and private sectors.

The Strategic Supply Chain Group met on 8th Sept 2011 in London.

Barbara Morton has recently been working with WRAP to deliver sustainable procurement training to the public sector. They have made a valuable contribution to the development of the SSCG.

LRS Consultancy

Barbara Morton has worked with LRS consultancy on a number of training and consultancy projects over a number of years. LRS Consultancy includes specialists who have developed and managed the Mayor Of London’s Green Procurement Code (a unique service which pioneered sustainable procurement in many London organisations). LRS Consultancy is also playing a key role in the development of the new British Standard for Sustainable Procurement.
